The Karnataka government today informed the parents of the school students that the state was not in a hurry to reopen schools and also asked them not to panic regarding the same. State Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said, "We have not taken any decision regarding reopening on schools in the state yet. The government does not have any such plans to reopen schools at present."
The government also informed that it was not mulling resumption of schools in the near future also. Kumar also added while addressing the reporters, "Let there be no panic. The state government has not yet taken a call on reopening the schools. There is no thought on starting them in the near future."
