Sudeep’s tryst with Swahili

Sudeep, who has acted in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films apart from Kannada, has added another feather to his cap. One of his films Eega has been released in some African countries after being dubbed in Swahili language. Eega has now been dubbed in Swahili language widely spoken in East Africa.

The film has been released in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Congo with the title INZI and a tag line - 'Kisasi Cha Mwisho' which means 'Fly- The Ultimate Revenge'. Sudeep's negative role in Eega earned him critical applause across the country.

Eega was later dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi and had received wide appreciation.

Director Rajamouli, currently busy with the post-production of Bahubali, said he was happy to know that Eega was the first Telugu film that was released in African nations.
