Sony Xperia Z4 Release Date: Set to Have At Least 5 Feature Upgrades over Xperia Z3

The Japanese electronics giant is expected to unveil its next-generation device at the upcoming Mobile World Conference 2015 (MWC 2015) to be held from 2-5 March in Barcelona before releasing it to the market a few weeks later. It was expected to be announced at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 (CES 2015) held earlier last month but it never happened.
The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to come with several feature upgrades over the Xperia Z3 and they are:
1) Display: The Xperia Z3 sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels (424 ppi pixel density), while its successor is expected to have a 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch screen. Two models of the Xperia Z4 - one with a Quad HD display and other with Full HD resolution – are expected to be launched at the MWC 2015. However,GSMArena claimed in a report that the device would sport a 5.2-inch 1440 x 2560px Triluminos display. 

2) Processor: The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, while its predecessor has Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat (upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop expected).
3)Memory: The Xperia Z3 comes packed with 16/32 GB internal memory and 3 GB RAM with microSD up to 128 GB, while its successor is expected to have a 32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM.
4) Camera: Sony's upcoming flagship device is expected to house a 20.7MP main camera and 4.8MP front snapper, while its predecessor has a 20.7 MP rear camera and 2.2 MP front snapper.

5) Battery: The Xperia Z3 has non-removable Li-Ion 3100 mAh battery but its successor is expected to be powered by 3420 mAh battery.
The Sony Xperia Z4 is also to have features like Qi Wireless Charging, LTE Cat 9 connectivity, and IP68 water and dust proof certification, according to a report by Tech Radar
