Pooja Gandhi backs out of films?

Kannada actress turned producer Pooja Gandhi seems to be consciously taking a backseat as far as producing films are concerned. Close after her debut production Abhinetri's performance at the box office, the actress has allegedly backed out of a film that was said to be based on the life of Muthulakshmi - wife of the late forest brigand Veerappan. The actress was also in a controversy relating to an accident where reports suggested she was involved in a hit and run case. Contrary to rumours, it was found that while she was indeed responsible for the accident, she ensured the victim was well attended to. The recent lows seem to be working against Pooja's spirit, what with her now opting out of one of her most ambitious projects. The actress had made enough efforts to reach out to Muthulakshmi and even got her to agree to letting her play Muthulakshmi for the big screen. Will Pooja snap out of all that's pulling her down and emerge to be the successful fighter she has proved to be in the past? Only time will tell.
