The renowned producer and wife of Dr. Rajkumar, Parvathamma Rajkumar is in trouble! According to the latest reports in Sandalwood, Appu-Shivanna-Raghanna's mother has been issued an arrest warrant from Kannada Film Chamber Associations. So, why did Parvathamma Rajkumar receive an arrest warrant? If the reports are to be believed, the producer Parvathamma Rajkumar has not paid the beneficiary amount which includes ESI, insurance and other policies of the workers of Kannada film industry.
Earlier, actress Tara, the Chief President of Kannada Chalanachitra Academy (KCA), had put forth a word to the higher officers of Kannada film chambers to cancel such beneficiary policies. Tara also said, "the workers only work for 40 days in a year, for which producers have to pay them counting for an year. This will hinder the financial status of the filmmakers". Before reaching a consensus regarding the payment, Parvathamma Rajkumar has been sent an arrest warrant for not paying the policy amount to workers. Later, considering Tara's statement, Minister Parameshwar Nayak had condemned and promised the producers, that these beneficiary amount will be paid by the Karnataka Government.
