Upendra, who's getting back to direction with Uppi 2, had a mishap on the set of his film at Nandi Hills recently. "We were shooting at the foothills of Nandi Hills and had stationed ourselves near a cave. The area is infested with monkeys, so an irate visitor must have thrown a rock at them but it came hurtling towards me from atop the hill," shares Upendra. The rock struck the umbrella that a spot boy was holding for the Real Star, after which it injured Uppi's shoulder and then went on to hit the eye of a still photographer who was standing behind the actor.
"The rock came at such a speed that I didn't even have time to react. I felt a stinging pain when it fell on my shoulder. My boys immediately brought some oil to treat the injury. But since we couldn't afford to waste time, after resting briefly, we resumed shooting," says Upendra.
