The announcement of Shivalinga a few months ago on Shivarajkumar's birthday was sensational because of the looks. Discarding the rowdyism image Shivanna was sporting a gun. The stylish suited looks was in contrast to his usual rugged looks. Now the film is ready for shooting.
The muharat has been fixed for December 15 and the venue is the Sri Kanteerava studio. The film is directed by P Vasu. This is the first combination of Shivanna and P Vasu. Shivanna will make back-to-back films for producer Suresh and Shivalingu will be followed by Kadhar. In Kadhar Shivanna will once again sport the salt and pepper look after Belli.
The heroine of the film will be announced on December 15 and rumours say a heroine from Kollywood will be making her debut in Kannada with this film.
