Actress Karishma Tanna, who made her filmi debut as a lead heroine with the Kannada film I Am Sorry Mathe Banni Preethsona in 2011, has found support from her friend, actress Raai Laxmi. Karishma is a contestant in the Hindi Bigg Boss that is currently being aired. She found herself on the receiving end of some rather crude statements that were made the daughter of Puneet Issar, who is also a contestant on the show.
Puneet's daugher, Nivirti, took to her Twitter page to make some comments against Karishma. Her tweet read, "@BiggBoss @karishma_tanna- Did her father die a natural death? or did her Kill himself for having a daughter like her who has no sense??" Nivirti has received a lot of backlash for her insensitive tweet.
Many have come out in support of Karishma, including Minchina Otaactress Raai Laxmi. Raai posted this message on her Instagram profile: "I m proud of u sweetheart @kktanna I can understand wat ur going thru inside the house but I know ur a strong girl n will always be ur a fighter , achiever n a brave women stay there don't give up KT ! Don't let anything disturb u as it is this world can't see anything good in ppl ! So be urself ur doing good till now just a few steps away from victory #bigboss I m sure u will."
