Actress-turned-politican Malavika Avinash recently responded to a news story carried by the Times of India. The news article was about Pakistan Army chief, Gen Raheel Sharif's tweet, in which he asked Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to hang all terrorits. Reacting to this, Malavika questioned if Lashkar-e-Taiba's Hafeez Sayeed and Zaki-ur Rahman Lakhvi, the men behind the 26/11 attacks, will be among them.
Raheel Sharif's tweets read, "#PakArmy will come at you #Taliban & will destroy you. And they will not target women & children. They are not coward like you."
"Dear people of #Pakistan stand & support #PakArmy in ops #ZarbeAzb & #Khyber1 & We will surly eliminate #TTP from our homeland InshaAllah!"
"Asked PM Nawaz Sharif to hang all terrorists. More than 3,000 terrorists should be hanged in next 48 hours." To this, Malavika tweeted, "Are Hafeez Sayeed & Laqhvi among the 3000?!"
On the subject of terrorists in Pakistan, Malavika's earlier tweet read, "How's Tehreek-e-Talibaan different from Lashkar-e-Toiba?!both kill innocent people...Pakistan,wake up n smell the coffee before you drown in it!"
