Director Nagshekar is making a Hindi film that will star Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. The story and screenplay for the film is ready and the film is being produced by Bharat Jain.
Bharat recently produced and directed the Hindi film 6-5=2. He will produce this new big-budget film in Hindi next. Bharat is a well-known producer in Kannada and film post production centres and an audio company.
Nagshekar who made a big name for himself with films like Myna and Sanju Weds Geetha has also turned lead actor with the film Cigarette which is yet to release. Yograj Bhat has also entered Bollywood recently but the shooting for the film is yet to start. Pavan Wadyar is also said to be ready to direct the remake of Googly in Hindi.
Nagshekar becomes the latest director from Sandalwood to direct a movie in Hindi. For decades Kannada directors have made Hindi films from Puttanna Kanagal to Rajendra Singh Babu.
