Shamika K Swamy, daughter of actress Radhika Kumaraswamy and well-known Politician Kumaraswamy is all set to make her Sandalwood debut. And it is her mommy dearest Radhika who is behind this unplanned debut.
A source close to the actress said that this was planned after Kumaraswamy and Anitha Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Gowda officially announced his debut in Sandalwood. He will be seen in the remake of Telugu blockbuster movie Leader.
Rubbishing the rumors, Radhika said that this has no connection with Nikhil Gowda’s debut and she had plans from many years to launch Shamika but was waiting for the right time and script. Speaking to a leading daily newspaper, Radhika had confirmed about her daughter’s debut.
The Ninagaagi actress had also said that she wanted to introduce Shamika in one of her movies but did not find the right platform. She confirmed that Shamika will be making her debut in a children’s film, while Radhika is still looking for the right script to suit her daughter’s personality. Radhika is said to be producing the film under her own production house-Shamika Enterprises.
Radhika who is currently busy shooting for Nimagagi opposite Vijay Raghavendra, also has another high budget movie Rudra Tandava lined up. Rudra Tandava is currently in the filming stage and is set to wind up in the coming few days. Rudra Tandava, starring Chiranjeevi Sarja is the remake of Tamil block buster Paandiya Naadu.
Sources close to the actress said that she is not signing any new projects as she now wants to establish her daughter in Sandalwood.
