Looks like Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has a soft corner for Upendra. The actress, who was in Bangalore to promote her Hindi film Happy New Year, said that it was Farah Khan who asked her to act in a Kannada film first.
Apparently the actress was asked to work with Upendra by Farah Khan. Deepika, who made her Sandalwood debut in Indrajit Lankesh's film, said that Farah made her work in a Kannada film so that she could feel easy in front of the camera.
Deepika also mentioned that she learnt a lot from the film and also had a great time working with Upendra.
