Darshan Steers Clear Of Theatre Controversy

Challenng star Darshan's upcoming movie Ambareesha is all set for a grand release on November 20. The release of the movie, which also stars Rebel star Ambareesh, got into a minor controversy. The producers wanted to release the movie in the Main Theatre Complex situated in Kempe Gowda Road in Bengaluru.



 Ambareesha Facing Theatre Problems However, the main theatres are still running Power Star Puneet Rajkumar's super hit movie Power***. The theatres have promised the distributors to run the movie for 100 days and therefore refused to screen Ambareesha. Miffed by the snubbing received by the theatre in Kempe Gowda Road, the producers have now decided not to release the movie in the Main Theatre Complex.  This issue has raised the eyebrows of many in Gandhinagar. There are many in the industry who oppose the dominance of the Main Theatre Complex, and they seem to have got empowered by the steps taken by producers of Ambareesha. The star of the movie, Darshan has distanced himself from the controversy. The actor tweeted his stand on the whole issue. Darshan tweeted, "One thing I wanted to convey to all my fans TV Media & paper Media social media, I am not behind this Main Theater Concept at all." He further added, "It's the Producer's Interest to release in one of the few available Good theaters in KG Road. I don't want to disturb any Kannada movies."
