Veteran producer and distributor, AR Raju, popularly known in the Kannada film industry as Ajantha Raju, is critical. He has been hospitalised for the last two days after suffering a massive heart attack.
The 75-year-old celebrated the Deepavali festival and also came to the Film Chamber to attend a meeting a few days ago.
Family sources said the heart attack was unexpected as he was doing well. He is being treated at the MS Ramaiah hospital in Bangalore. Film personalities have wished him speedy recovery.
