KSEEB – The Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board is a state education board in the Indian state of Karnataka which was founded during the year 1966. It is considered as one of the oldest boards in India and it works under the Ministry Government of the Karnataka State. It conducts the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examination for class 10th of affiliated schools. The Board has Bangalore as its headquarters and the main responsibilities include execution of various activities like designing the courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations and many more.

Karnataka 10th Board Exam 2020

Karnataka SSLC exams are usually conducted in March/April of every year at state-level. But this year marks a change in various events owing to the COVID-19 lockdown. The 10th board examination is conducted in three languages and three core subjects including Science, Social Science and Mathematics. The duration of the examination is 3 hours. The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board had released the revised timetable of the SSLC board examination which is all set to begin from 25th June 2020 onwards. As per the schedule, the Karnataka Board 10th exam 2020 will begin on 25th June and end on 4th July 2020. An approximate of 8,50,000 students are expected to appear for the examination. Masks and social distancing is mandatory due to the current situation. Karnataka is the second state in southern India after Kerala, conducting the pending SSLC exams in the year 2020
