Live-streaming service Meerkat has updated its application so users can now sign in to the app using their Facebook login.
According to the Verge, the update also introduces matching and address book scanning so that users can build a network of friends on the service by letting the app take a look at the contacts. The update came after Twitter cut Meerkat off from its social graph.
By using Twitter's social graph, it was originally able to populate and connect friends on Meerkat merely by taking a look at users' connect ion's on Twitter.
