Twitter's chief financial officer Anthony Noto's Twitter account was reportedly hacked.
The hackers posted some 296 tweets that were more of direct replies to users with a URL redirecting to another website.
According to The Verge, each of these random clickbait phrases was tweeted out several times along with a link to a site called Flashscore, after Noto's Twitter account was hacked. The company said that Noto's account had been suspended and the spam tweets were also deleted until further investigation, the report added.
