OPPO launches Mirror 3 in India, a mid-range smartphone

OPPO yesterday announced the launch of its cost-effective model, the Mirror 3, in the Indian market, with a price tag of Rs 16,990. The budget smartphone is aimed at the mid-range market.
The Mirror 3 has a 4.7" 1280x720p screen and a curved back panel. It's powered by a  64-bit Snapdragon 410, with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM. The phone only 8GB internal storage, but is expandable upto 128GB with a microSD card. The Mirror 3 runs OPPO's ColorOS 2.0.1 UI on Android 4.4 KitKat and has dual SIM slots. The phone is packed with an 8MP f/2.0 rear cam  and a 5MP selfie cam, and has a 2000mAh battery, that the company says can be topped up in 90 minutes with their 2-amp charger.
Commenting on the new launch,Mr. Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobiles India said, “Smartphone technology is constantly evolving. We are excited to introduce Mirror 3 to our picture-loving Indian customers. It comes with phenomenal camera quality. No matter day or night, the image quality taken from a Mirror 3 smartphone is greatly enhanced.”
