The winner of Bigg Boss 8 Gautam Gulati stated that he took host Salman Khan's advise seriously and thus managed to win the show, according to Mumbai Mirror.
"After the fight with Karishma Tanna, I was isolated but didn't lose hope.
"I clung on to Salman sir's words that 'Aapki zindagi iss ghar ke bahar hai, yahaan aap sirf insaan ya victory chose karte ho' after the incident, "he said.
He expressed that he has been a big fan of Salman Khan since his childhood days and wanted the superstar to present him the trophy.
Gautam also stated that he had a gut feeling that he would win the stormy reality show.
After winning the reality show, the 30-year-old Gautam Gulati now has his eyes set upon Bollywood offers.
Before participating in Bigg Boss 8, he was popular for his role as Vikram Rathi in the daily soap 'Diya Aur Baati Hum'.
