The latest buzz from the Tamil film industry suggest that an European firm has approached actor Vijay to make a Hollywood film with him in the lead role. However, there is no official confirmation from the actor as yet.
Media reports claimed that the European production house in question has already bought the remake rights of soon-to-be-release Tamil movie 'Onnume Puriyala' directed by Apsara Kumar. When the international banner was on the lookout for an actor from down south to play the lead role in the English remake of the film, they were advised to consider Vijay.
"The makers were impressed with Vijay and through the Tamil producer (of 'Onnume Puriyala'), have got in touch with Vijay's dad SA Chandrasekaran in this regard. However, the actor is yet to respond to the offer,"said a Times of India report.
Vijay has been basking in success of 'Kaththi' film, which became one of the top-grossing films in Tamil last year.
