Now the latest one coming your way is a video with the Pulsar 200SS, giving a closer look into the Bajaj's stunning creation, which has been getting attention since its inception. In the 3-minute-41-second video, which was uploaded on YouTube by a user named Ercan Demir, Pulsar 200SS is seen stunting on wet floor.
Pulsar 200SS, the fully-faired version of 200NS is likely to be powered by the same 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled triple-spark engine of its sibling 200NS. The bike is speculated to come with fuel injection technology and ABS.
The current engine of 200NS has the capacity to churn out 23.52PS of power @9,500rpm and 18.3Nm of torque @8,000rpm. The engine is likely to come mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the stopping power is likely to come from 280mm and 230mm disc brakes.
As for the features, expect it to get dual projector headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and a differently shaped tail lamp.
Expected to reach Indian showrooms by mid-2015, Pulsar 200SS is likely to get a price tag around ₹1.5 lakh. When launched, the bike will take on the likes of Hero Karizma R, Yamaha YZF-R15 and KTM RC200 in India.
