Red carpet report card: Who rocked and who shocked this week?

Best look of the week:
Sari-torial flair!
We love Esha in this multi-print Disney X Satya Paul sari. She completed the look with a ponytail and neutral peep-toes. Thankfully there was no jewellery. All the queens of match-much need to see this look as a reference point.

Worst look of the week
Ugh...
Now where do we even begin? The unsightly knitted blouse, the unflattering shredded denims and the most hideous choice of footwear ever - what was Miss Sawant thinking? It'll go in the history of airport looks as the worst one ever!
Snooze-a-thon
Soha needs a stylist ASAP or is that an understatement? This one-shouldered Urmil By Ritika & Prerna dress is just yawn-inducing. There's nothing much to write about this look anyway - be it the blah hairdo and the uninspiring choice of footwear.

Jhataak much!
It's very rare that someone can pull down an Anamika Khanna's artisanal sari. However,Rani Mukerji did it with a whole lot of diamond jewellery. We don't know who dressed her up but the girlfriend needs to read Coco Chanel's wise words: "Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off."
Needs some va va voom:
Now, why would a sex-bomb like Chitrangda opt for this pale curtain-like dress is beyond us! The look doesn't do half as much justice to the multi-layered personality that Chitrangda is!
Velvet woes:
Shilpa Shetty chose a red Manish Malhotra sari which sort of merged with the red carpet she was treading on. The moot point remains - with all the access to couture brands why did she opt for the velvet upholstery?
Scope of improvement:
We definitely like Miss Sinha's braided hair and the jacket look she's been sporting of late. However, we wish she had left the blazer button open. It just highlights all the wrong part.

Not long ago Sona had opted for a Rahul Mishra embroidered shirt dress which didn't flatter her well-endowed frame either.

Blingtastic hurricane:
We are not sure how flattering are Taapsee's Siddartha Tytler separates. Much prefer the corset without the unsightly peplum details!
Femme fatale alert
All Carol did was tie her hair back and opt for a bold mouth and she killed it in this one-shoulder Gaurav Gupta dress. Real style doesn't really need too much effort. does it?
Draping overkill
Sabina Singh and Shruti Hasan seem to be clearly overwhelmed by their outfits. In Sabina's case, it's overwhelming for her frame while Shruti doesn't seem to do justice to the dramatic gold gown with an exaggerated train.
A welcome change
Huma Qureshi's personal style has been the fav punchbag for every pen pusher in town. But looks like the full-figured lass has learnt her lessons. This Dhruv Kapur ensemble is just perfect for the lady. She cleaned up really well.
