Ajay Devgn's Action Jackson is falling flat on its face. With a stale done-to-death story along with some caricaturish performances,Action Jackson has faced criticisms coming from all over. And the box office numbers testify the same.
Whereas, critics have always been harsh to most commercially viable action entertainers, audiences have mostly given thumbs up to many of them. But Action Jackson seems to have not managed to achieve a good word of mouth as well. Hence the film's collections which were already low on its opening day, dipped further on the second day.
Action Jackson which had collected Rs 9.25 crore on Friday collected only about Rs 8.25 crore on Saturday taking the cumulative two day total to Rs 17.50 crore. This is well below the expectations, given that the film boasts of heavyweight names like Ajay Devgn, Prabhu Dheva and Sonakshi Sinha.
Now, one only needs to see whether the film manages to rake in decent moolah during the weekdays and manages to recover its investment or be another Himmatwala for Devgn!
