Trailer watch: Let SRK, Kajol take you down memory lane with new DDLJ promo

It's been more than 19 years yet every time you listen to Amrish Puri telling Kajol, "Jaa Simran, jaa. Jee le apni zindagi," just before she runs to leap on to a train that is carting away her lover (Shah Rukh Khan as Raj), you're bound to have a smile appear on your face. That is the magic of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

So, in celebration of the film running for 1000 weeks on 12th December, Yash Raj Films have released a new trailer for the film.

The new trailer is basically the entire film compressed in little over two minutes, and it's enough to cast a spell over viewers all over again.

Diretced by Aditya Chopra, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge was released on 20 October, 1995, and famously, the film is still running in Mumbai's Maratha Mandir.

It won 10 Filmfare Awards, including the awards for the best film, best actor, best actress, best director, at the 1996 edition of the ceremony.

A statement from the movie's production banner Yash Raj Films (YRF) read: "Starting December 12, 2014, YRF is looking at a slew of activities to commemorate the completion of 1,000 weeks of DDLJ's uninterrupted run at the box office."

Maybe we should expect more DDLJsurprises.
