Prime Minister Narendra Modi has joined the popular picture sharing social network Instagram.
He posted his first Instagram photo from Myanmar, where he is attending the ASEAN Summit. The picture featured a banner placed at the venue where the Summit is taking place. The picture got more than 2,400 likes and 384 comments. Along with the picture Modi also posted a message announcing his debut on Instagram. He said," Hello World! Great being on Instagram. My first photo...this one from the ASEAN Summit."
He cross-posted the photo on his Twitter account. Prior to sharing the Instagram post, Modi also posted a photograph that featured him clicking a picture at the Summit venue with what appeared to be an Apple iPhone 6.
