'Kaaviya Thalaivan' First Day Collection at Box Office: Siddharth Starrer off to a Good Start

The multilingual movie was released in above 300 screens in Tamil Nadu. In India, "Kaaviya Thalaivan" got around 450 screens to open and it is in the international circuit that the flick has done good business.
When it comes to occupancy, on an average, "Kaaviya Thalaivan" crossed 60 % in Chennai on the release day. It was above 50% on the first day in Tamil Nadu.
"Kaaviya Thalaivan" has been released in 37 screens in the US alone. In the UK, Australia, Sri Lanka and Malaysia, the Tamil movie has performed well.
As per the traders, "Kaaviya Thalaivan" has rocked at the box office on the first day and they are expecting no less than ₹ 5 crores in Tamil Nadu from day one. The combined collection of all the regions and two languages might be close to nine digits.
Response from Kerala
Due to the Prithviraj factor in "Kaaviya Thalaivan", the Tamil film got a fantastic opening in Kerala. The response is likely to remain  the same in the next two days due to word-of-mouth publicity in God's Own Country.
The total collections of the first day in Tamil Nadu and from "Pradhi Nayagan" are yet to be officially revealed.
"Kaaviya Thalaivan" has Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhicka, Anaika Soti and Nasser playing  key roles. The movie is jointly produced by Varun Manian and Sashikanth. The good storyline, outstanding performances of the key characters, AR Rahman's brilliant music, Nirva Shah's good cinematography and Vasanthabalan's direction have won huge appreciation.
