IPL spot-fixing and betting: Supreme Court adjourns case till November 14

The Supreme Court announced that the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 spot-fixing and betting case has been adjourned till Friday, November 14, 2014.
N Srinivasan has not been granted leave by the Supreme Court to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 20.
Earlier, AFP reported that the Supreme Court on Monday will take up the final report on the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot fixing scam submitted by a committee headed by Justice (Retired) Mukul Mudgal on November 3. The case could decide the fate of some of the biggest names in Indian cricket. The former Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) boss, N Srinivasan’s fate will be decided today along with that of his son-in law Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra who co-owned Rajasthan Royals.
According to television reports, two international players’ role could be examined based on police probe, while two IPL teams — Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals — could face possible termination. Last week, Justice (retd) Mudgal submitted the final report in a sealed cover to the Supreme Court, adding that the information was final and based on the findings by the investigating team.
