“Besides Jazbaa, I have also given a go-ahead to a few more scripts ... I thought of making an announcement but then I thought again — with due respect to the director and producer, it would be right for them to make an announcement,” said the actor.
However, she’s not hesitant to talk about her comeback flick. “Unlike the last two years, this year, I have something to talk about ... there is lot of personal and professional work. I loved the script of the film and we will start shooting for it from January. I am excited that it’s going to be a busy year. I will work hard to give my best.”
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Jazbaa also stars acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan, but that’s not the only film where audience will be able to see the best of her. “During the course of the year, you will get to see all the (masala) ingredients of Hindi films (in my movie appearances). But that may not be in one film — rather, in a couple of them,” said Ash.
Meanwhile, the celebrations saw Ash cutting a cake with actor Shah Rukh Khan, whose birthday fell on Sunday (see pics below). Aishwarya spent most part of the evening hanging out with SRK’s wife, Gauri. Ash met their toddler AbRam briefly, and was overheard telling Gauri about the playschool that her own daughter Aaradhya has been going to, for a couple of months.
“I spent my day with my family, friends and loved ones. I am in a happy space and feel blessed. It’s been a great year. Life has become better with each passing day ... it’s because of the love and the good wishes,” said the actor.
