In a swift police action, Bengaluru police on Tuesday arrested 6 persons in connection with harassing a group of five women at MG road.
Among the arrested, three hail from Tamil Nadu, while the other three are from the city itself.
In a press conference, police chief MN Reddi said that his team managed to nab all the culprits within 48 hours and he was proud that his team delivered on the commitment.
He also added that accused, who have been interrogated, will be produced before the Magistrate.
On Saturday, a group of five women sitting in a car near an ice cream parlour at MG Road were stalked and harassed by the accused. One of the girls caught the incident on tape and filed a police complaint at Cubbon Park police station.
