Ram Gopal Varma’s controversial new movie Sridevi has many secrets to it. Varma, has initially took in Poonam Kaur for the lead role. A couple of scenes were already shot on Poonam. But Poonam, when saw a 10 year old boy being paired up with her in the movie, she quit the movie. Varma tried to convince Poonam saying that, the movie is about a 17 year old teen who fantasizes about an older woman, but Poonam found out it to be a completely different thing about the shoot. That is how Varma had to confirm Anushkriti for the role.
The other secret is the movie’s title. Initially, the title of the movie was ‘Savitri’, but after knowing that the title is already registered for some other movie. Varma has changed the title to Sridevi, which led to Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s opposition. But Varma didn’t care and continued with the title ‘Sridevi’.
