Naga Chaitanya scored a hit with Tadakha(2013) which is a remake of Tamil super hit Vettai(2012). Chaitanya plays youngster who takes on goons on behalf of his police brother played by Sunil. He has evolved as mass hero with this film, prior to which he was known to be suitable only for romantic films. Reports say Chaitanya is looking at remaking another Tamil hit Sigaram Thodu(2014).
This movie is also a Police backdrop movie which revolves round serial ATM robberies. Sources say, Chaitanya’s dad actor-producer Nagarjuna has already bought the remake rights. Gaurav, who directed the original, might direct the Telugu version as well. Chaitanya who is on cloud nine with the success of Oka Laila Kosam(2014) is busy with shooting of untitled film directed by Sudheer Varma.
