All India Council for technical education (AICTE) conducts the CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) so that aspirants of pursuing Business Administration courses may take admission in the B-Schools affiliated through AICTE. Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation: 25 Quests. (100 Marks)
Logical Reasoning: 25 Quests. (100 Marks)
Language Comprehension: 25 Quests. (100 Marks)
General Awareness: 25 Quests. (100 Marks)
Examination Hours: 2hrs
Negative Marking: 1
Examination Mode: The test is online based, so candidates have to write this test on computer. At the exam time, candidates will be given scratch paper to do calculations which they need to leave on the test venue.
Syllabus of CMAT:
General Awareness: Current Issues, Banking, Economic, Social, Business Etc. Awareness.
Language Comprehension: Syllogisms, Reading Comprehension, Analogies, Verbal Reasoning, Antonyms and Synonyms, Sentence Correction, Fill in the Blanks, Idioms, Etc.
Logical Reasoning: Calendars, Clocks, Binary Logic, Linear and Matrix Arrangement Seating Arrangement, Logical Sequence, Premise, Blood Relations, Conclusion, Assumption, Etc.
Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation : Number Systems, Percentages, Permutation Combination, Trigonometry, Modern Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Time and Work, Averages, Profit and Loss, Quadratic and Linear Equations, Probability, Interpretation and Analysis of Data based on Text, Tables, Charts (Column, Bar, Pie), Graphs (Line, Area), Venn diagram Etc.
Practice Test for CMAT:
Candidates who are not familiar with the computer and its functionalities are given the facility to take the trial test that will be conducted by CMAT on the prescribed date by the exam governing body.
